6th Grade Registration Choice

Are you in 6th grade and want to enter the Alaska Science & Engineering Fair? You have a choice to register as an elementary school or middle school student.

How do you decide? Here are some hints to help you:

• If you are enrolled in a middle school, register as a middle school student.
• If you are enrolled in an elementary school, register as an elementary school student.
• If you are in a homeschool or K-12 school, ask your teacher/parent/guardian which he or she recommends.
• If you did your project as part of a classroom assignment, ask your teacher how you should register.
• If you have a team project with another person who is in 7th or 8th grade, register as middle school.
• If you have a team project with another person who is in 5th grade or lower, register as elementary school.
