Everyone needs forms 1, 1A, 1B, and the abstract form:

• ISEF Abstract and Certification form - Note: Students in grades 9-12 are required to write an abstract for their project portfolio. New since 2009: This form will be also be used for the special category Alaska Professional Communicators abstract contest for senior high projects. To enter the contest, please staple a local abstract contest entry form to a second copy of your abstract (on the ISEF abstract and Certification form) and turn it in at registration. Please keep the first copy of your abstract with your project portfolio. If you win the top prize at the Alaska Science & Engineering Fair, you will be asked to enter your abstract text using ISEF's on-line version of this form.

Some projects need forms 1C, 2, 3, 4, 5A/5B, 6A, 6B, and 7. Use the The Intel ISEF Rules Wizard to help determine which forms apply to your project.
